The World Athletics delegation, which included Anna Molisova (Air Quality Project Manager), Olivia Meyonette Sweeney, Nadeem Kamm, and Sadiq Sudan, lauded the event’s flawless execution.
“The technical organization of the Lagos City Marathon is on par with the best races in the world. We commend Alli and his fantastic team for doing an outstanding job,” they noted.

“Despite the hot weather, the first runner still finished in under 2 hours 15 minutes. If this race were held in Berlin or another cool-weather city, the winner might have finished in 2 hours, 2 minutes,” they observed.
