WASSCE Tragedy Averted: Troops Foil Mass Kidnap Attempt on Kogi Students
A potential mass abduction of students sitting for the ongoing WASSCE examinations in Iluke Bunu Community, Kogi State, was dramatically thwarted after security troops swiftly responded to an attack by armed men.
According to eyewitnesses, the gunmen stormed the examination area and attempted to seize students before troops arrived and engaged the attackers, forcing them to flee. All students were rescued unharmed and safely reunited with their families.
