US Strikes 90+ Iranian Targets on Kharg Island as Iran Denies Reports of Leader’s Injury
Tensions in the Middle East escalated after the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed a large-scale precision strike on Iranian military targets on Kharg Island, a strategic hub in Iran.
According to CENTCOM, more than 90 military sites—including missile storage bunkers, naval mine depots, and operational facilities—were hit while avoiding damage to critical oil infrastructure.
The escalation follows a warning from Donald Trump, who threatened to target Iran’s oil facilities if attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz continued.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi dismissed claims by Pete Hegseth that the country’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, had been injured, insisting there was “no problem” with the leader’s condition.
The developments highlight rising geopolitical tensions and military posturing between Washington and Tehran, raising concerns about stability in the global energy corridor.
