Speaking at the White House alongside German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Trump asserted that the strikes had crippled Iran’s military capacity and suggested Tehran was preparing an attack before the operation began — a claim that contrasts with prior remarks from Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
