Education Minister Dr. Tunji Alausa announced a transnational partnership establishing a Coventry University campus in Alaro City, offering accredited UK bachelor’s and master’s degrees in STEMM, business, and TVET at reduced costs.

  • Processing plant producing fresh milk, powders, butter, cream, and 15,000 metric tonnes of infant formula annually

  • $620 million annual revenue projection

  • 7,500 direct and indirect jobs

NSIA MD Aminu Umar-Sadiq called it “one of the most ambitious initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s food and nutrition security in a generation.”


Migration Breakthrough: Streamlined Returns

The Home Office announced a landmark immigration deal where Nigeria will now recognise UK letters—identification documents issued to individuals without valid passports—enabling faster returns of overstayers, foreign criminals, and failed asylum seekers.

King Charles III welcomed President Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu with full military honours at Windsor Castle, hosting a state banquet that praised Nigerian contributions to UK development.
