PDP Condemns Rendition of Tinubu’s Campaign Tune in National Assembly Chamber
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has condemned the playing of President Bola Tinubu’s campaign music in the hallowed chambers of the National Assembly during the presentation of the 2024 budget.
The party described the act as “a blatant disregard for and violation of the sanctity of the National Assembly, the symbol of the collective sovereignty of the Nigerian people.”
PDP spokesperson Debo Ologunagba said the incident further validates the party’s concerns about the creeping totalitarianism of the APC administration.
