In a major boost for African integration and borderless travel, Nigeria has officially reciprocated Rwanda’s 30-day visa-free policy. Announced on Friday by the Nigeria Immigration Service, the new directive—ordered by President Bola Tinubu—allows Rwandan citizens to enter Nigeria seamlessly, marking a new dawn for bilateral relations.

The historic breakthrough was finalized during President Tinubu’s state visit to Kigali for the Africa CEO Forum. Following high-level diplomatic talks with Rwandan President Paul Kagame at the Urugwiro Presidential Villa, the two leaders committed to dismantling travel barriers to unlock mutual economic growth.
