Odumodublvck Summoned to Abuja Court Over Criminal Intimidation Allegation by Chocolate City Executive
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has been summoned by a Chief Magistrate Court in Abuja to appear in court over an allegation of criminal intimidation filed by Olayinka Osagie Onobun, Head of A&R at Chocolate City Music.
According to court documents obtained by TheCable Lifestyle, Chief Magistrate Farida Ibrahim issued the summons dated November 3, 2025, ordering Odumodublvck to appear in person on November 6, 2025, to respond to the charges brought against him.

In the petition, filed through his counsel Pelumi Olajengbesi, Onobun—who also manages rapper Blaqbonez—alleged that Odumodublvck engaged in a pattern of online intimidation aimed at causing fear and distress.
“The defendant has, by his actions, threatened the complainant with injury to his person in order to cause fear,” the petition read.
Olajengbesi argued that Odumodublvck’s online comments and posts on X (formerly Twitter) constituted criminal intimidation, a violation punishable under Sections 396 and 397 of the Penal Code Act, Cap 532, Laws of the FCT, Nigeria (2006).
Chief Magistrate Ibrahim consequently ordered the rapper to appear before the court to answer the charges directly.

The court summons is the latest twist in what has become an escalating feud between Odumodublvck and members of the Chocolate City camp. In recent weeks, the “Declan Rice” hitmaker has exchanged heated words online with Morin Oluwatobi, Blaqbonez’s manager, and Jude ‘MI’ Abaga, the veteran rapper and former Chocolate City boss.
Just days earlier, Odumodublvck criticized MI for what he called “fence-sitting” in the face of growing tensions within Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.
“The past few weeks have been heavy,” Odumodublvck wrote on X. “My friends and I have been painted in terrible lights, and a deeply personal and painful situation has been twisted into something it is not.”

Beyond Rap Beef: Odumodublvck Calls for Accountability
In his recent posts, Odumodublvck clarified that his dispute with certain industry figures is not a “rap beef” or publicity stunt, but rather a deeply personal issue stemming from over a year of alleged online abuse and threats directed at someone close to him.
“For over a year, someone close to me has been subjected to ongoing online abuse, threats, and personal violations. Watching that play out publicly has been difficult, especially as false narratives and targeted attacks continued,” he stated.
He went on to condemn the trivialization of personal pain for entertainment value, describing it as “deeply disrespectful.”
“Reducing a person’s hurt to entertainment is insensitive and deeply disrespectful,” the rapper wrote.

Odumodublvck, who is known for his bold opinions and street-rooted authenticity, also accused industry leaders and label executives of ignoring his private appeals for help.
“I reached out privately to people with the power and influence to intervene… but no one helped,” he said.
The rapper emphasized that his actions were not motivated by pride or ego but by a need to protect someone who had been “tormented for far too long while everyone looked away.”
