Nigeria’s Interior and Aviation Ministers Inspect State-of-the-Art Tier 4 Data Center in Abuja
Earlier today, H.E Mr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, was joined by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, H.E Festus Keyamo, SAN, to inspect the soon-to-be commissioned command and control facility at the NIS headquarters in Sauka, Abuja.

This facility houses a cutting-edge 1.4 PetaBytes (PB) Tier 4 Data Center, marking the end of a 17-year wait, as stated by Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.The construction of this state-of-the-art facility was undertaken by a Nigerian company and certified by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). With this new data center, Nigeria now boasts of having the best border management security system, which will integrate all migration activities for close monitoring from a central observatory command by qualified officers.
