Justice Chizoba Orji of the FCT High Court granted Ozekhome and co-defendant Ponfa Useni ₦10m bail each, with one surety owning property in Abuja. They must also deposit their international passports. Both defendants pleaded not guilty to allegations of passport forgery and fraudulent property claims linked to a London address.

EFCC Re-Arraigns Malami

In a separate proceeding before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik, the EFCC re-arraigned Malami, his wife, and son on 16 counts of alleged money laundering. The defendants pleaded not guilty. The court also approved corrections to financial figures in the charge sheet.

The developments mark a significant chapter in Nigeria’s ongoing anti-corruption drive, with multiple senior legal figures now facing intense judicial scrutiny.
