Abubakar Maigandi, President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), anticipates a potential drop in petrol prices following the revival of operations at the Port Harcourt refinery. Maigandi expressed optimism during a meeting with NNPC’s Group Managing Director, Mele Kyari, highlighting the proximity advantage for South-South region marketers and the anticipated boost in employment opportunities. As preparations for loading commence, Maigandi emphasizes the positive impact on pricing and availability once production resumes.
