“Nigerian Army Busts Alleged IPOB/ESN Drones Production Factory in Delta State, Arrests Suspects”
In a significant operation, Nigerian Army troops have successfully uncovered and neutralized a firearms and drone manufacturing factory allegedly operated by the Eastern Security Network (ESN), the armed fighters of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The factory was located in Onicha Olona, Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, the Director of Army Public Relations, the intelligence-led operation led to the arrest of six suspects involved in criminal activities aimed at terrorizing neighboring communities and innocent citizens.

During the operation, the troops encountered fierce resistance from the suspected operators of the factory. However, they managed to overpower the armed fighters in a fierce firefight. Two fighters were neutralized, and a substantial cache of arms and ammunition was recovered.
The seized items included a wide range of IPOB/ESN firearms, ammunition, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), and a drone manufacturing factory. The troops also discovered a variety of weapons, drones under construction, prototypes, Improvised Explosive Device materials, a fully equipped workshop, and several power generating sets.
