Enhancing National Security: Nigeria Police Force Reviews Tinted Glass Permit Issuance
The Nigeria Police Force has reviewed the issuance of tinted glass permits, previously banned in June 2022 due to concerns about facilitating crimes. Now, stringent measures will prevent abuse and ensure compliance. ICT Analysts and Enforcement Officers nationwide will receive comprehensive training on February 29, 2024, ahead of permit issuance.

The training aims to equip them with skills to regulate the process, address complaints, and enforce compliance. The proposed permits will feature a QR code linked to a central database, unique serial numbers, and a digital hologram for authenticity. Regular updates will be provided to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation process.
