EFCC declares Former Kogi Governor Wanted
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello wanted for an alleged financial crime to the tune of N80.2 billion.
The anti-graft agency has called on those with vital information about the former Kogi governor’s whereabouts to reach the commission or the police.
They disclosed this on their facebook page today shortly after trying to arraign the former governor over money laundering charges. “Anybody with information as to his whereabouts should report immediately to the Commission or the nearest police Station.”
The former governor is being investigated and arraigned on 19-count charges bordering on money laundering to the tune of N80, 246,470, 088.88( Eighty Billion, Two Hundred and Forty Six Million, Four Hundred and Seventy Thousand and Eight Nine Naira, Eighty Eight Kobo
