In a historic move set to redefine Nigeria’s energy landscape, Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced the nationwide rollout of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and diesel beginning August 15, 2025. This landmark initiative will not only enhance fuel availability across Nigeria but also offer free nationwide logistics, powered by a newly procured fleet of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tankers.
Targeted at marketers, petrol dealers, manufacturers, telecom operators, aviation, and other major fuel users, this strategic programme underscores Dangote’s commitment to affordable, accessible, and sustainable energy for all Nigerians.
“This initiative is more than distribution—it’s a revolution in Nigeria’s midstream and downstream sectors,” said a Dangote spokesperson.
A Sustainable, National Impact
The company’s investment also includes a network of CNG daughter booster stations and over 100 CNG tankers dedicated to maintaining a seamless, eco-friendly supply chain. This effort reduces logistics costs while supporting the shift toward cleaner energy.
With a mission to revive dormant petrol stations, stimulate SMEs, reduce inflation, and spur job creation, the plan is aligned with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been praised for his reform-driven economic policies.
