Court Fines NYSC N5 Million Over Governor Mbah’s Certificate

A Federal High Court in Abuja has fined the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) N5 million for wrongly claiming that the NYSC certificate of Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah was fake.

The court, in a judgment delivered on November 6, 2023, held that the NYSC was guilty of misrepresentation of material facts. The court also held that the NYSC had failed to prove that Mbah’s certificate was fake.
