Baba Fryo Accuses Nasboi of Copyright Infringement Over ‘Denge Pose’ Lyrics, Demands Compensation
Veteran singer Baba Fryo has accused comedian and singer Nasboi of using lyrics from his classic hit “Denge Pose” without permission. In a viral video, Baba Fryo expressed his frustration, pointing out that Nasboi’s latest track, “Short Skirt,” includes the phrase “Denge dey denge Denge,” originally from his song.
Baba Fryo is demanding proper credit and compensation for the use of his lyrics, warning Nasboi to reach out before legal action is taken. In his message, delivered in pidgin English, Baba Fryo made it clear that this issue has been bothering him for some time and that he’s now ready to act.

You see that song wey Nasboi sing about ‘short skirt,’ my lyrics ‘Denge dey denge Denge’ dey inside the verse. So, anybody wey knows Nasboi should tell him to reach out to me before water go pass geri.”
Baba Fryo emphasized that this must be the last time anyone uses his work without proper authorization, urging Nasboi to contact him to resolve the matter amicably.
