Sanwo-Olu Commissions New Lagos Commercial Court to Strengthen Legal Infrastructure and Revenue Enforcement
In a strategic move to enhance the efficiency of justice delivery and strengthen its fiscal enforcement mechanisms, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially commissioned the Lagos State Commercial Court, a modern legal facility located in Tapa, Lagos Island.
The newly constructed six-floor judicial complex boasts 10 fully furnished courtrooms, a dedicated library on each floor, conference rooms, and a range of support facilities designed to improve court operations and ease of doing business in the state.
A New Era for Commercial Justice in Lagos
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the facility as a “game-changer for legal and economic reform”, reinforcing the state’s commitment to building a transparent, fair, and swift judicial process that supports its economic vision.
