Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has publicly slammed Fuji music legend, Saheed Osupa, after the veteran reportedly took down his song from streaming platforms over copyright infringement.
In a viral Instagram video on Wednesday, Portable accused Osupa of stifling his career instead of offering support. The takedown occurred after Portable used a line from one of Osupa’s songs, leading to the removal of his track from Spotify and Apple Music following complaints from Osupa and his music distributors.

Reacting to the situation, Portable did not hold back, launching a scathing attack on Osupa, claiming that the Fuji icon failed to support his career.
“Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you.”
The Zazu crooner argued that his music was different from Osupa’s, emphasizing that he sings hip-hop, while Osupa sings Fuji. He also compared Osupa’s reaction to that of another Fuji star, Pasuma, who, according to him, had no issues when Portable used elements of his music.
“I used a line from your music, just like I removed three verses from Pasuma’s song. But Pasuma never reported my song. He embraced me like his own child. Osupa is a good man, but if you can’t support me, stay away.”
