Nigeria’s 2027 presidential race gained another contender as the National Democratic Party (NDP) officially unveiled Ada Fredrick as its presidential candidate, positioning her as a fresh voice for youth empowerment, women’s inclusion, and grassroots-driven governance.
The party says Fredrick, founder of the Ward2Ward movement and a key force behind the NDP’s creation, emerged through a consensus process following nationwide primaries. Campaigning on economic transformation, job creation, healthcare, education, and local value addition, Fredrick pledged to offer Nigerians “a new light of hope.”
