Rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has strongly disagreed with veteran singer Eedris Abdulkareem’s recent claim of paving the way for Burna Boy, Wizkid, and other Nigerian artists in the music industry. Odumodublvck firmly stated that no musician can take credit for paving the way for any artist, emphasizing that it is ultimately God who determines success.

In response to Abdulkareem’s claim made during a podcast interview on the Honest Bunch, Odumodublvck expressed his belief that such statements are an attempt to claim “God’s glory.” He credited the success of artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy to their hard work, determination, and individual struggles.

While acknowledging that artists can inspire each other, Odumodublvck emphasized that no human being in the history of music has paved the way for him or any other artist. He firmly stated that only God has the power to pave the way to success. In a message on his social media handle, he wrote, “Everybody dey claim pave the way. Everybody trynna claim God’s glory. None of you n*ggas paved the way for no one.”

Odumodublvck urged others to refrain from making claims of paving the way for him, as they were not present during his journey. He emphasized the importance of humility and encouraged individuals to respect the individual struggles and realities faced by artists.
