Nigerian musician Eedris Abdulkareem has made a shocking claim, alleging that American rapper 50 Cent assaulted the renowned Nigerian music duo Psquare during a concert in 2004.

In the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, Abdulkareem revealed that the incident took place backstage on the first day of a concert organized by Nigerian Breweries at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.

According to Abdulkareem, 50 Cent’s entourage aggressively “flogged” and “chased away” several Nigerian artists, including Psquare. However, Abdulkareem resisted their attempts to chase him away, leading them to eventually leave him alone.

Recalling the incident, Abdulkareem stated, “On the second day, a day before the plane saga, we were backstage at TBS when 50 Cent and his crew arrived. They chased and flogged every Nigerian artist, including Psquare, out of the backstage area. I was waiting for them to come and chase me. Finally, when they approached, they asked me to leave because 50 Cent was coming. I defiantly responded, ‘So what? Please, get the f**k out of my face.'”

Abdulkareem further revealed that he remained undeterred by their presence and even confronted the organizers when they reported him. This led to a confrontation, resulting in the entourage leaving the venue that night.
