Despite the controversy surrounding Kanu’s extradition from Kenya, the Apex Court emphasized the need to proceed with the trial, stating that the unlawful abduction should be addressed through a separate civil matter. This ruling directs Kanu to defend himself against the remaining 7 counts of terrorism charges, marking a significant turn in his ongoing legal battle.
