The Super Falcons of Nigeria

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have dropped two places in the latest rankings released y FIFA. The women’s team dropped 32nd to 34th in the final FIFA Coca-Cola women’s world ranking for 2023

However, in the ranking that was released on the FIFA website, the Falcons still remain number one in Africa.

In the last ranking that was published in August, the nine-time Africans champions moved up eight places from 40th to 32nd.

The impressive ranking was thanks to their outstanding performance at the 2023 FIFA women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Following the Falcons’ showing at this year’s World Cup, Nigeria won the Best Women’s National Team on Monday at the 2023 CAF awards.
