TAR Global Placement Consulting Hosts “3rd Canadian Education Fair” Provides Information for Entry

In an effort to stem false information, issues of fraudulent activities and misrepresentation, a regulated Canadian Immigration Consultancy firm, TAR Global Placement Consulting has provided a platform to Participants at an Education Fair in Lagos.

Tagged the “3rd Canadian Education Fair”, the event attracted a diverse range of attendees which included students, parents, educators and representatives from educational institutions in Canada on Saturday, November 18, 2023 to acquire first-hand information about the diverse opportunities available in Canada’s education and immigration landscape.

Delivering the keynote address at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos, The Trade Commissioner of The of Canadian High Commission in Nigeria, Mr. Dindembolo-Zaya Kuyena highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Canada and Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of education as a means of fostering international cooperation and understanding.

He highlighted the diverse range of academic programs available in Canada, both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as vocational and technical training. The Diplomat also underscored Canada’s welcoming and inclusive environment for international students, emphasizing the country’s reputation for safety, diversity, and multiculturalism.

While providing comprehensive insights into immigration categories such as Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Work Permit, Study Permit, and more he emphasized the need for would-be residents of the North American state to explore various immigration pathways and educational opportunities available.

Earlier in his welcome remarks, the Convener who is also a seasoned Immigration expert, Mr. Taiwo Roluga expressed his optimism on the application processes for study permits, work permits, and permanent residency, stressing the importance of valuable information and guidance to Nigerian individuals aspiring to pursue education and career opportunities in Canada.

He noted that the firm’s team of experienced professionals, over the years has been able to offer personalized guidance and addressed individual queries related to immigration procedures and educational institutions in Canada.

During the education fair, representatives from Canadian universities, colleges, and educational institutions showcased their offerings to prospective Nigerian students. Some of the institutions present were York University, University of Regina, Algoma University, Royal Roads University, University of Windsor, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Durham College, Fanshawe College, Lambton College, George Brown College, Cambrian College, St. Lawrence College, Alexander College, Niagara College to mention a few. The fair provided a valuable platform for participants to engage with Canadian educators, learn about academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and admission requirements into studying and living in Canada.
