Big Brother Naija Season 11 has entered its ninth week with the competition taking a major turn after Barry used his Ultimate Veto Power to save all remaining housemates from eviction.

The decision means the 10 contestants still in the house have automatically secured places in the finale, shifting the focus from survival to the final battle for the ₦160 million grand prize.

The development followed a dramatic triple eviction on Sunday, September 20, when Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka were evicted after 56 days in the competition.

Their exits marked a significant turning point, particularly for the YuBells relationship and the complicated connections involving Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka and Keivo.

Triple Eviction Changes the House

The eviction of Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka came after a drama-filled eighth week.

Barry had emerged as Head of House and also secured his place in the finale after winning the Ultimate Veto Power.

The week was also marked by disagreements among the housemates, including a heated clash between Oyin and Bluethopia over clothes, which later involved Flora.

Relationship conversations remained another major storyline.

Yusuf and Bells had become one of the most discussed pairings of the season, with Bells acknowledging that she had developed genuine feelings for Yusuf.

The pair also discussed the possibility of continuing their relationship after leaving the Big Brother house.

Their eviction brought the YuBells storyline to an abrupt turning point.

Keivo Takes Charge in Week Nine

With the house reduced to 10 contestants, Week Nine opened with Keivo winning the Head of House challenge.

Keivo emerged on top in the four-game competition and selected Aikou as his Loft companion, while Oyin became the week’s Benchwarmer.

But the biggest development came from Barry.

With his Ultimate Veto Power still available, Barry was faced with deciding how to use it. He ultimately chose to give immunity to all the remaining housemates.

That decision effectively removed the possibility of a public eviction during Week Nine.

As a result, all 10 remaining contestants automatically secured their places in the finale.

From Survival to the Final Battle

Barry’s decision has changed the atmosphere inside the house.

Rather than spending the week worrying about nominations and eviction, the remaining housemates can now concentrate on tasks, campaigns, friendships and relationships as they prepare for the finale.

The relationship storylines have also continued.

Temi Nkem and Tram have revisited their much-discussed kiss, while the relationship between Keivo and Bluethopia remains a talking point.

Flora and Aikou’s connection has also continued to attract attention.

With the eviction pressure removed, those relationships and personalities could become even more important as viewers assess the housemates ahead of the final vote.

Who Are the BBNaija Season 11 Finalists?

The 10 housemates who have secured their places in the finale are:

• Aikou
• Barry
• Bluethopia
• Flora
• Keivo
• Oyin
• Ricky
• Sheba
• Temi Nkem
• Tram

They are all competing for the ₦160 million grand prize.

There will be no eviction this Sunday under the current format, following Barry’s decision to use his Ultimate Veto Power to protect everyone remaining in the house.

That means the nature of the competition has now changed.

The question is no longer simply who can survive the next eviction.

Instead, the remaining housemates must now make the strongest possible impression before the winner is eventually crowned.

For BBNaija viewers, the final stretch is set to be less about escaping the eviction door and more about determining who can capture the audience’s attention and emerge as the season’s ultimate winner.
