NDC Deregistration: Peter Obi, Seriake Dickson Reject Court Ruling as Atiku’s Aide Urges Opposition Unity

The political crisis surrounding the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) intensified after a Federal High Court reversed its earlier order recognizing the party. Reacting to the ruling, Peter Obi described the decision as a setback for Nigeria’s democracy, insisting his concern is “not about who becomes President, but that Nigeria works.”

NDC National Leader Seriake Dickson also rejected the judgment, calling it legally flawed and vowing to challenge it in court. He accused unnamed forces of attempting to undermine multi-party democracy but assured supporters that the party would remain steadfast.
