Retired General Rabe Abubakar Buried Amid Tears as Tinubu Vows No Mercy for Terrorists

President Bola Tinubu has condemned the death of retired Major General Rabe Abubakar, who died while in terrorist captivity in Katsina State, as the late military officer was laid to rest amid emotional scenes and renewed calls for stronger security measures.

The President sympathised with the family of the former Director of Defence Information, especially his wife, who remains in captivity, and vowed that Nigeria would never bow to terrorist demands. Tinubu reiterated his administration’s commitment to defeating banditry and terrorism, warning that those responsible for shedding innocent blood would face the full force of the law.
