Governors Propose ₦100,000 Minimum Wage as NGF Backs Tinubu’s Reforms
The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has proposed a new national minimum wage of ₦100,000 , acknowledging the need to improve workers’ welfare amid rising living costs.
The announcement:
NGF Chairman and Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq made the position known on Friday, stating that governors are actively engaging with the federal government and labour unions to reach a sustainable agreement.
Where things stand:
