ADC Appoints Imoke, Abdulfatah Ahmed to Lead 2027 Presidential Primary Committees

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has named former governors Liyel Imoke and Abdulfatah Ahmed to head key committees ahead of its 2027 presidential primaries.

Imoke will chair the Presidential Screening Committee, while Abdulfatah Ahmed leads the Presidential Election Committee as the party intensifies preparations for the next general election.

According to the ADC, the appointments are aimed at ensuring transparency, credibility, fairness, and internal democracy throughout the primary process. The party also unveiled separate appeal and governorship screening committees to manage disputes and strengthen confidence within its ranks.
