50 Cent is back in the headlines—balancing sharp humor, rap rivalries, and unexpected pop culture crossover moments. The rap mogul wasted no time trolling longtime rival Diddy following Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 50-month prison sentence on prostitution charges handed down on Friday (Oct. 3, 2025).
Just hours after the sentencing, 50 posted a courtroom photo of Diddy wiping away tears, firing off a sarcastic jab at the hip-hop mogul’s cancelled public appearances. “Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagements, I heard he won’t be able to make it, I’m available!” he quipped on Instagram.
Prosecutors called Diddy’s planned post-sentencing “healing” tour “the height of hubris,” while his attorneys argued it was not for profit. Still, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled firmly, sentencing Combs to just over four years in federal prison—less than the 11 years prosecutors sought, but far more than the 14 months his defense requested.

“And it was not an invitation / But as the 50 Cent song played / Should’ve kissed you anyway.”
Reacting with excitement, 50 posted the album cover with the caption: “@taylorswift s–t is popping right now. She shout me out, she don’t shout you out. LOL. THIS IS FOR BIG TIMERS ONLY! I’m the only shout out on the whole album.”
