Third Edition of Basketball Without Borders Global Women’s Camp Brings 40 Top Young Prospects to Indianapolis

In a major push to elevate women’s basketball on the global stage, the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), National Basketball Association (NBA), and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) have joined forces once again to host the third edition of the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Global Women’s Camp during the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.

Set to take place from July 17–19 at Nicoson Hall, University of Indianapolis, the elite development camp will feature 40 of the top high-school-aged female prospects from across the globe — all handpicked to learn, compete, and grow under the guidance of WNBA legends, FIBA stars, and top coaches.

Women’s Basketball Without Borders: A Global Movement

More than just a training session, this camp is a life-changing experience. Young athletes will receive hands-on instruction in movement efficiency, offensive and defensive skills, 3-point shooting, 5-on-5 gameplay, and leadership workshops that build mental resilience, confidence, and teamwork.

The camp will be open to WNBA scouts and NCAA coaches, giving these young women a prime platform to earn collegiate opportunities. In fact, last year’s edition saw 34 campers land NCAA Division I scholarships.

This year’s coaching lineup includes:

• Georgia Amoore (2025 No. 6 overall WNBA draft pick, Australia)

• Tonya Edwards (1999 WNBA All-Star, 2x NCAA Champion)

• Kelly Faris (2x NCAA Champion)

• Andrea Gardner-Williams (2x Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Player of the Year)

• Allison Feaster (2004 WNBA All-Star, Celtics VP) will serve as Camp Director

Global Talent Meets All-Star Stage

Participants will also attend the WNBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on July 19, gaining inspiration from the world’s top players while building friendships across borders.

The initiative is backed by Nike, a long-time BWB partner since 2002, providing exclusive apparel and footwear for campers.

Since its inception, Basketball Without Borders has empowered over 4,600 players from 144 countries, producing 142 professional athletes in the NBA and WNBA. Alumni include:
