Nigerian singer Iyanya has been unveiled as the newest judge on the highly anticipated 10th edition of Nigerian Idol, joining Omawumi and Ric Hassani on the star-studded panel.
The grand announcement took place at an exclusive event in Lagos, where Busola Tejumola, MultiChoice’s Executive Head of Content, emphasized the show’s impact on talent discovery and its significance in Nigeria’s creative economy.

Tejumola highlighted Nigerian Idol’s role in nurturing music talents, noting that the platform has helped launch the careers of superstars like Timi Dakolo and Omawumi. She also pointed out that the show extends beyond contestants, creating job opportunities for artists, producers, stylists, vocal coaches, and content creators.
