Adefeso’s appointment brings unmatched experience and passion to Ball Affects Lives. A respected Nigerian sports media personality, youth advocate, and social entrepreneur, Adefeso is the Founder and Executive Director of Balls Activating Literacy and Leadership (BALL) — an organization that has already empowered over 2,000 young people across Africa by providing sports equipment, literacy programs, and leadership training.
His impressive career includes collaborations with global sports giants like ESPN Africa, BBC Sport, NBA Africa, and FIBA Media. Notably, Adefeso made history as the first African journalist to interview NBA All-Time Scoring Leader LeBron James and contributed to NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon’s biography, “DREAM”.

Ekworomadu’s vision has already led to the construction of a community basketball court in Nigeria and the sponsorship of athletes pursuing education in America.
Her impact stretches far beyond the court, having traveled to over 40 countries and spoken to more than 50,000 young people on bullying prevention, character building, and female empowerment.
