Boom RadioNG | February 10, 2025

Lagos commuters can now enjoy enhanced rail services as the Red Line Rail Service expands its daily trips, starting today. The upgraded schedule includes five morning and four evening trips, a significant increase from the previous two-morning trips.

With a total travel time of just 50 minutes between Agbado and Oyingbo, plus a brief two-minute stop at each station, the Red Line is redefining efficient, stress-free commuting for Lagos residents.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed the state’s commitment to transforming urban mobility, emphasizing that three newly acquired train sets will further boost the Red Line’s capacity, strengthening Lagos’ integrated transport network.

“The Red Line isn’t just a train service—it’s a game-changer for commuting in Lagos. We are building a city where connectivity drives economic growth and improves the quality of life for all residents,” the governor stated.

Lagos keeps moving, and so do its people.
