Nigeria Police Set to Enforce Third-Party Insurance Compliance from February 1

Police Crack Down on Uninsured Vehicles
Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun has directed all law enforcement units to begin rigorous enforcement, targeting vehicle owners who fail to comply with insurance requirements. According to a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the move aligns with ongoing efforts to improve accountability and safety on Nigerian roads.
