Police Launch Massive Operation to Rescue Abducted Medical Students in Benue
Students Kidnapped en Route to Conference
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has condemned the abduction of 20 medical students in Benue State. The students were traveling to a conference when they were kidnapped.
The IGP has ordered a major operation to ensure their swift rescue. This includes deploying additional tactical units, advanced helicopters, drones, and specialized vehicles to locate the students and secure their safe return.

Inspector-General of Police, (IG) Kayode Egbetokun,
“The Nigeria Police Force stands with the victims and their loved ones,” the IGP stated. “We are committed to leaving no stone unturned in apprehending the perpetrators and bringing them to justice.”
The public is urged to provide any information that could aid the investigation and rescue operation.
