In a decisive operation in Taraba State, Nigerian troops from the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army demolished a kidnappers’ den, rescued a victim, and apprehended three suspected kidnappers. The operation, conducted in Kofa Adamu village of Takum Local Government Area, resulted in the safe release of a victim held captive by the criminals.

Acting on credible intelligence regarding the abduction of Mr. Hussein Adamu on March 26, 2024, troops swiftly cordoned off the area and rescued the victim. Additionally, three suspected kidnappers involved in the abduction were arrested during the operation.

The rescued victim is currently receiving medical attention, while the apprehended suspects are undergoing interrogation in military custody.
