Governor Aiyedatiwa Dissolves Ondo State Executive Council
In a decisive move, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has dissolved the State Executive Council, effective immediately. The dissolution includes all members of the Cabinet appointed during the tenure of late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. Aiyedatiwa has directed these officials to promptly hand over their responsibilities to Permanent Secretaries or the most senior administrative officers in their respective offices, emphasizing a smooth transition.
In addition to the dissolution of the executive council, Governor Aiyedatiwa has relieved all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs) of their duties. The affected officials are instructed to return all government properties in their possession. The governor expressed gratitude to these officials for their dedicated services and contributions to the state’s development.
