President Tinubu condemns deadly Attack on Plateau villages
President Bola Tinubu has today condemned the attack in Plateau State, describing it as heinous.
Reacting to the incident, the President has ordered security agencies to arrest the perpetrators of the attack.
He made this known through a statement attributed to his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale saying “President Tinubu directs security agencies to immediately move in, scour every stretch of the zone, and apprehend the culprits,”.
The President also directed the “immediate mobilisation of relief resources for surviving victims of the primitive and cruel attacks as well as medical treatment for the wounded.”

On the eve of Christmas, Gunmen stormed over 15 communities in the Bokkos and Barkin-Ladi Local Government Areas killing over 115 people.
Several houses were set ablaze by the attackers on Sunday night by gun-wielding men while also looting farm produce and destroying properties as they butchered the residents but No group has claimed responsibility for the unfortunate incident.
On Sunday, Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang condemned the violence, calling it “barbaric, brutal and unjustified saying “Proactive measures will be taken by the government to curb ongoing attacks against innocent civilians,”.
