Church authorities initially confirmed the cancellation of the musicians’ appearances, but the parish leader later reversed the decision. Aderemi Dabiri, the parish leader, explained his intention to reach unchurched individuals and potentially inspire conversion, citing previous successes with similar approaches. Pasuma delivered a set of Fuji gospel songs, while Portable’s performance included his popular hit “Zazu,” captivating the audience.
