Governor Adeleke Mandates Adire Fabric for Osun Public Servants on Wednesdays

In a move to promote cultural heritage, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has directed all public servants in the state to wear Adire fabric every Wednesday. The directive, which takes effect immediately, aims to revitalize the Adire industry and enhance the state’s cultural identity.

“As a government, we are committed to promoting our rich cultural heritage, and Adire is a significant part of that heritage,” stated Governor Adeleke. “By encouraging our public servants to embrace Adire, we are not only supporting local artisans but also sending a strong message about our pride in our culture.“
