Super eagles arrive at Camp for AFCON qualifers

According to Super eagles media officer, Babafemi Raji, 11 players have arrived at the Super eagles camp in Abuja ahead of the African cup of nations qualifiers game against Guinea Bissau.

Former Chelsea central defender Kenneth Omeruo is the latest player to join the camp. Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Kingsley Aniagboso, Premier League quartet Keelchi Iheanacho, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi, Atalanta striker Ademola, Kevin Akpoguma, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey and the rookie Daniel Bameyi are also in camp.

Victor Sochima, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Zaidu Sanusi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Frank Onyeka, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Terem Moffi, Victor Osimhen and Paul Onuachu were still being expected.

However, the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau are set to arrive Abuja on Wednesday, 22nd March, 2023 for first Leg of their game with the super eagles. They will fly straight to the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja from the Osvaldo Vieira International Airport, Bissau.

Group A leaders in 2023 AFCON qualifiers, Nigeria will take on Guinea-Bissau at the National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, March 24.
