Police service commission gives police force 2 weeks ultimatum to conclude Abba kyari’s investigation

The Nigeria Police Service Commission has handed the Nigerian police force a 2-week ultimatum to conclude investigations on the case indicting the suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari involving a popular Instagram socialite Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi arrested in Dubai.

This was disclosed in a statement made today by the Head, Press and Public Relations of the commission, Ikechukwu Ani.

The Commission also directed the police to constitute another panel of inquiry to investigate the FBI indictment allegations against the Officer.

The directive to the Police Force headquarters, followed the deferment of the final decision by the commission on the grounds of the legal advice from the Attorney General of the Federation to the effect that “there’s a prima facie case but the evidence adduced by the former investigation panel cannot be used to convict Kyari in any court”.
