Nigerian Government To Publish Book On The Country’s Activities On Covid-19
The Federal Ministry of Health and the Society Committee Against COVID-19 (SOSOCOVID) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to document covid-19 activities of the federal government, non-governmental and private organizations.
At the signing of the MOU, the representative of the Ministry, Mr Okechukwu Okwudili, said that the federal government, partners and other relevant stakeholders have been playing vital roles in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
He said that the Ministry and SOSOCOVID’s decision to write a book about all the efforts was a welcome development and for posterity sake adding that the process of the book had been on for months leading to the MoU.

The Director of SOSOCOVID, Mr Kenneth Ibe-Kalu, said that the book ” COVID-19 The Nigerian Story” is for Nigerians, the larger world and the younger generation.
He still noted that the book’s storyline would celebrate those who planned strategies, those who braved it to the front line and other people who rendered several services.
