Singer Fireboy Earns First UK Top 10 Entry With ‘PERU’

Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML has secured his very first top 10 entry on the Official UK Charts with the remix for his hit single, ‘Peru’ appearing at no. 6.

This was shared via the official website on Friday, the 7th of January 2022.

The song enjoyed a 28-spot jump from the no. 34 spot it occupied last week.

Fireboy released the remix for his latest smash hit, Peru last month with the addition of British singer, Ed Sheeran.

The addition of the international superstar to the song increased its popularity bagging over 17 million views on YouTube

‘Peru’ remix has also recently made its debut on the US Rhythmic Radio Chart.

The original Peru song meanwhile has spent weeks on end atop the Official UK Afrobeats chart.
