The much anticipated 2022 Grammy Awards which is billed to hold on the 31st of January is now reportedly likely to be postponed amid fears of the new Covid-19 variant.

According to several outlets, including Billboard, the 2022 Grammy Awards may be postponed making it the second time in straight years.

Although the Recording Academy itself has not announced that the Grammy Awards 2022 has been postponed, it is becoming the increasingly likely direction as the new Covid-19 variant is on the rise.

Nigerian superstars; Wizkid, Femi Kuti, BurnaBoy, Made Kuti and Tems have all been nominated for this year’s edition.
