UK Joins US And Australia’s Boycott Of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games
China’s Handling of the Hong Kong Protest and allegations of abuse of human rights has been cited by the United Kingdom has reasons for it’s planned “diplomatic boycott” of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
Prime minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson announced during a parliamentary session today.
Johnson said he didn’t think “sporting boycotts” were good hence the decision to not send any diplomat to represent Britain when the games commence next year.

British Athletes will be allowed to compete at the global sports fiesta while their country makes a statement with a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing games.
Britain has now joined the United States and Australia who had earlier announced plans to stage a diplomatic boycott of the games.
Britain finished in the 19th position at the last Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. South Korea in 2018.
