Lagos State Begins Sale of Rice and Vegetable oil to Citizens Ahead Yuletide Season

The Lagos State Agriculture Input Supply Authority (LAISA) has began the sales of rice and vegetable oil by the agency. Making this disclosure is the agency’s General manager, Mr. Bolaji Balogun saying the exercise is Lagos’ state way of helping it’s citizens reduce the stress associated with end-of-the-year shopping for food items as adequate provision has been made.

 

According to him, LAISA is committed to ensuring the availability of food items throughout the year, stressing that the agency will continue to supply farmers in the State with high-quality agricultural inputs and products at affordable prices.

The General Manager also disclosed that through LAISA, Lagos state has been able to established eight farm centers in different parts of the State to enable farmers easy access to quality agricultural inputs and products at affordable prices.

 

 

The food items for sale, rice and vegetable oil can be purchased at the agency’s head office at Agriculture Development Authority, Old Oko-Oba Road, Agege, at N24,000 for 50kg, as interested persons can call the following numbers: 08033339321, 08035386226 and 08033026494.

Balogun reiterated that the agency’s commitment is to sustain the provision of food for citizens of the State, assuring that the agency will continue to support farmers to boost food production.
