NYSC: Corps Members Warned Against Night Parties

The National Youth Service Corps on Tuesday in Bauchi warned Batch C Stream 1, corps members against night parties and participating in local politics of their host communities.

The Director-General, Brigadier -General Shuaibu Ibrahim, gave the warning at the close of the batch’s orientation course.

Ibrahim who was represented by the NYSC Coordinator in Bauchi, Nnamdi Abubakar, urged corps members to

“Steer clear of acts that can put you in harm’s way, such as staying out late, attendance of night parties, visits to dangerous places, and acceptance of automobile rides from strangers.”

He also advised the corps members to be security-conscious at all times as they proceeded to their places of primary assignments.

He enjoined them to perform their duties with diligence and be guided by the provisions of the NYSC Act and by-laws as well as workplace rules and regulations
